RE: (ET) Deck mount broke
If you don't already have some 1" angle iron welded on the top of the deck
for reinforcement,
add some. I added blocks from the front of the arm mounts to the angle to
spread out the
force more as well. You almost certainly broke the baffle loose underneath
too; re-attach it
at the same time. While you have a torch out is a good time to cut off
rusty 1/4"-20 bolts
and replace with stainless hardware. Clean off the grass a bit so it won't
start a fire.

Subject: (ET) Deck mount broke
Well, the mounting point on my E15's front mower deck broke off
yesterday. I suppose the fix is to have a new attachment point welded on
- presumably some reinforcement would be good as well - does anyone have
any tips on how to get the job done right?
thanks,
Steve Gaarder
