(ET) New Canadian to the list
Hello Peter
>I'm new to this list, so allow me to introduce myself. I'm the
proud owner of a new (to me!) Electrac E15 that I picked up a few weeks
ago.
I live near >Almonte, Ontario,
As you will see I too am in Ontario all be it a 7 hour drive away.
The Electak Web page has the complete shop manual in PDF format. So here a
place to start, I also have a set of shop manuals and I can photo copy you
any diagrams, that are unclear in PDF. I'd offer advice on trouble shooting
but it is my weak point. One word about parts from Bill Gunn, his prices
are
really very reasonable but the shipping and service charges to bring it
into
Canada are very high (so if you have a friend in the states this is a time
to ask for a favour). That's what I do. As and alternative - A good
forklift repair depot may well have the part you need, these are the same
relay/contactors used in older 36vdc electric lift trucks. Take the part
with you and go for a match. .
Anyway, welcome aboard. Electrak are good fun I have 6 and hope to
get all 9
