Steve, just use your VOM and check the socket on the golf
cart where the charger plugs in. This will give you the
polarity.
Rob.
------ If I only had a golf cart!
Guess I could go down to the golf course....
-- And from John...
I disconnected the relay which turned it on
and
off and hook it up directly. The charger then turned on. You
could do the
same, in order to test the polarity, and then reconnect the
relay.
------ Which is what I ended up doing.
------ For the record it looks like the plug I
have is an EZ-Go Powerwise plug, used in EZ-Go models since 1996 or so.
Couldn't find the socket (cart end) on the internet, so I may need to check
out a golf cart place. Using the corrrect mating receptacle is probably the
smartest thing. Anyone out there have used golf cart parts connections?
Eric?
