Hello Andy,

I have the same problems with my mower deck.  Strips of uncut grass and
layers coming out from under the deck.  I recut a good part of my lawn also
!

My deck is Model # 26AA42KA, rear or side discharge if the side plate is
removed, and it too has the baffles installed.  Some of the responses you
got from others indicate the blades should be 14 1/2 inches long, mine are
14 1/4 inches !  I guess that explains the strips.  I thought of the blade
length being the problem, but there seems to still be about 1/2 inch of
blade overlap.  I guess that's not enough.

Thanks Andy and everyone for the questions on the deck, I seem now why mine
doesn't work as good as I thought it should.
