I just picked up what I thought was an E-8 as that is what is listed on
the side. It has dead batteries totally flat so I need to replace those. I
was going to throw in a few 12 volt just to see if it would turn on and
creep around but when I started looking at the old beat up manual it shows
the E-8 only having 3 6v batteries and the e-10 having 6?
I didn't see that in the manual. The E-8 uses 3 - 12v batteries and there
was a kit to convert to 6 - 6v.
