I agree with the OCR. That's what I have done with the manuals I have
scanned where I can. The software I use keeps pictures as pictures and
turns
text into text - even on the same page. With a decent original it's very,
very good. Sometimes it misses a large header or black text on red. It came
with the scanner (it's at home - don't remember the name). The end result
is a very useable manual, though maybe not an exact copy of the original.
Also there are shareware PDF creators. I use PDFEdit995 - seems to work ok.
I'd be happy to do some scanning as well. I've done most of what I have
that
is not bound and sent it to Elec-Trak.org - hopefully it will show up on
the
next update.
