RE: (ET) E15 pricing

A lot depends on where you live. There are lots of ETs in upstate NY so
they
go a bit cheaper up there.

Many ET lovers have gotten ETs just for hauling them away. I recently
paid
$100 for an E15 in restorable but non-running condition (holes in the
battery
boxes) with 2 parts decks (one too rusty to use, the other borderline), a
mostly complete blade, and a few odds and ends. That seems to be about
the going price. The guy delivered it, too (I don't own a truck). I
might have
gone to $150, but not much more.

Going price for a ~running~ E15, solid but with surface rust, usable deck
included, and no or old batteries, is around $300-400. Figure around
$50-100
less without a deck.

The main problem with a non-running ET, even if it ran when parked, is
that
the buyer really can't tell what it needs. He has to assume it's good
only for
parts.
