hi all thanks for interesting discussion on use of rotary inverter for 
chainsaw.  i have used one to power a milwaukee 16 inch saw. it worked 
fine, 
even with crummy batteries.  but i prefer the original et chainsaw because 
inverter uses juice unnecessarily when chainsaw temporarily off.  
    i hope to try one of those recently discussed here that can be had for 
200 or so.  anyone used them for larger electric chain saws?  regards, jon
