Watts/Volts=Amps. 900 Watts at 110 Volts is 8.2 Amps. The rating is
continuous; you can go almost 40% higher for a few seconds on an inductive
load (motor) for starting. Also, your 15 Amp chainsaw is 15 Amps under
the heaviest continuous load is was designed for. In normal operation the
current is a fraction of that.

Hi folks,
I've not closely followed the thread on these rotary inverters. How many
amps does the 900 watts translate into ? I'm wondering if it will drive
my
110V chain saw which is rated at 15 Amps.
Thanks,
Steve F.
