Forgot to caution, some of the cheaper alternators use diodes that are
only rated at 60 volts peak inverse (wouldn't handle the reverse
voltage) Depending on the alternator the amp rating should be above 25.
I'm used to working with Motorola or Prestolite stuff, those diodes
should be ok.
