Ok, Ok
I have seen Elec-Traks in boxes! I have unboxed Elec-Traks from the
shipping
box. They were in good shape, tires and belts were fine but needed air.
Surprisingly they all had some rust spots from spending years in cardboard
boxes with mice running about. Some extra work was required to make every
thing work but it was mostly just clean the old dried oil/grease out of the
part and re-lube it.
The tractors were strapped down to a wooden pallet with a cardboard cover.
Wish now I would have taken pictures. You had to attach the steering wheel
and assemble the mower decks
I thought about keeping one tractor in the shipping box, but decided it was
better to remove the tractor, clean and wax it and keep it in a dry garage.
I never have put batteries in one E12.
