Hello DB,
The older style E-Z-GO golf car charger made by GE used a circuit board
to automatically switch off the charger once the batteries were fully
charged. You can install one in your charger circuit between the
manual-timer and the transformer. The E-Z-GO part number is 28567-G01 and
cost $60. After the charger has shut-off wait a day and start the charger
again to do an equalize charge. Or talk with Harry Landis on this list
about
his charge controller.
