The rear lift actually uses the two stabbers to attach to the rear end
of the frame rails. The tiller attaches to a 3/4" (? guessing) steel rod
that in turn mounts to the U-shaped strap that hangs under the frame and
to the rear axel, via some special clamps. You can get the clamps and
bracket from Bill. So the bracket with the rod is stationary; the tiller
pivots on the rod as the rear lifts raises it up.
The tiller itself works great; the rear lift motor quickly died -
probably because I put it on 24 volts instead of 18 volts. Ideally would
come up with a lift based on a true 36 volt motor.
As for a big motor for the tiller... I think there was just one on E-bay
which didn't sell so might be re-listed soon? Check back in the archives
of this list or the EV list as someone had posted it. Or, if you have an
unused ET snow blower/thrower might be able to use that motor. Or maybe
even the drive motor from the carcass of the smaller ET's?
Hopefully someone has some pictures to help you out... if not I can
borrow a digital camera and take some in a few days.
