Re: (ET) cleaning contacts

I use an audio contact cleaning/protectant product, ProGold, from Caig
http://www.caig.com/c-pg100.htm

It was recomended for cleaning the FI contacts on my old VWs and seems to
work well. I'm not sure how weather resistant it is and it's a little
pricey

For cleaning electrical contacts on the Elec-Trak (or any electronic
device) I have found a little carburetor cleaner on a Q-Tip works as well,
and in some cases better than commercial contact cleaners. The best I have

found is Wal-Mart's Brand (I believe its call TECH-2000 or something like
that). It cost under a dollar for a large spray can. It's also a good for

general degreasing and cleaning of metal parts on your Elec-Trak. Careful
though, it will mar and in some cases melt certain plastics.
