Dave,
I'm using T-105's which are 1/8" shorter than the T-145's. Bill Gunn said
all will clear, as long as they are not wing-nut post type. See
http://www.elec-trak.org/faqs/battpost/battpost.html for a picture
http://www.elec-trak.org/gallery/E15FinishedTractor/front_batt_JPG.html
shows a pic showing how to use the GE front batt bracket to hold down
Trojan's.
http://www.elec-trak.org/gallery/E15FinishedTractor/rearbatt_comp_JPG.html
shows holding down the rear batts. While I re-used the GE bracket, you can
do the same thing with a hunk of aluminum angle iron from Home Depot. I
attached the bracket to the sides using button-head capscrews and nuts.
Aren't WWW sites great for answering these pictures??

Just went to the trojan site to get the battery specs. I noticed that the
t-145's are 11 1/2 inches tall. My current batteries are maybe 10 1/8 or
perhaps 10 3/16. Is anybody running with T-145's ?? Will they fit under
the
seat? I am worried about the six seat pan bolts and possible making
contact if
I fall in a hole or run over something in the tall grass. None of my
batteries
have any kind of hold downs, though it looks like the front has provision
for
some sort of hold down bar ???
thanks,
dave

For most
folks the T-105 works well. Only use the T-125/145 if you have a BIG yard
(over
an Acre)
to mow. Trojan WWW site is http://www.trojanbattery.com You can see the
distributor list
their as well.
