Having blown up 4 caps in the past 2 days due to a bad transformer AND a
bad main disconnect that likes to drop out in the middle of a charge, I
wondered if anyone knows a good source of replacement. Will a 440v 4 mfd
GE from Grainger (p 198 of the 2001 cat) do or do we really need the
harder to find 660 vac?
Has anyone else experienced this cap loss for similar reasons? Is this
normal or just a real bad run of bad luck? Hey Don maybe this would be a
good start for your FAQ page (when we sort it all out)
Got some real good close ups of doing a brake job (keep that disk
floating with a little never seize) and also MOUSE wire damage!! (on my
favorite E20) that I will attempt to load onto my ET web pages soon.
Great picture of a 4 ET repair clinic in our front yard as well.
How does one go about aligning the front tires? There is no adjustment.
Also, has anyone figured out how to keep them MICE!@#!! out of the
control panel? They built it right below this painstakenly repaired
control board:

and chewed up half a dozen wires (none thru).
Cheers, Jim
