I've also had good results in my road EVs with US Battery, also sold
under the "Interstate Workaholic" label. They are usually just a bit
cheaper than Trojans.
I'm presently using six group 24 East Penn gel batteries in series
parallel in the tractor, and they're working fine (but they have to be
charged with individual automatic 12v chargers, not the ET charger).
