Yes, it will make a noticable increase in charging rate. Keep an eagle eye
peeled for any signs excessive current input, such as violent gassing,
especially early in the charging cycle, and rapid temperature rise. Get the
trusty VOM out, and check the voltage, periodically, during charging. Do
not
leave the unit charging, unattended, until after several monitored cycles
have been completed. Keep us posted.
