Perhaps the hardest part of changing the mower motor bearings is
understanding how to pull the blade flange. I have a crude drawing of
what is involved at my "repair tips" page part of my ET page at the

The bearings are pulled in the conventional way. Just be careful to
"muscle the armature gently" so as not to damage the magnets. This takes
some concentrated effort. All sorts of pullers are available by mail or
ie Sears.
