Msrk, first thing I would do is dis-assemble and clean all the battery
terminal connections, both to the post and clamp to wire. To me sound
like a "high resistance" connection somewhere. You probably should also
check and see if any cells are frozen, that would be probably a bad
battery.
But first check the terminals.
