Anthony, you need to measure accurately the resistance of the shunt
across the power meter with your digital meter, then calculate actual
current draw.. On the E12 it is a length of wire, on mine it was about
1 inch too long and this made the reading too high.
Check the actual voltage (36 VDC - more or less - at the motors, if you
have a burnt relay you may have excessive drop.
