(ET) RE: Mother Earth

for some more insight into these wonderful machines that are known to be

far superior than their gas equivalents. As to farming with them on a
small homestead here is an unsolicited comment from a small farmer:

"I use my et's daily on the farm. The e12 with brand new 225ah batteries

will cut 3 acres (even on hilly terrain) on one charge. In fact, after
sheep
were done grazing a 5 acre pasture, I mowed down what was left on two
charges
which was much more work than standard mowing because of the height.
3 acres is not a far fetched claim!"

Keep in mind that these were made back 30 years ago when Mother was in
her prime and still owned by her founders, the Shuttleworths. A gas
equivalent would be on it's fourth engine by now and more than likely
long gone to the scrap pile.

You should be standing behind any such "Green" efforts as the
Shuttleworth's were inclined to do. (I still have my copy of their
Hybrid Car plans) The weight and power of the ET work in it's favor not
it's detriment. My "20" will out pull any gas tractor in it's weight
class all day long. Any time you would like a demonstration come visit
us on Cape Cod. Just give us a day's notice so we can charge overnight
and be ready for a "tractor pull" as we tend to work these babies (4 of
them) hard and wouldn't want to be caught with our charge down!
