Re: (ET) Mower deck rollers or something else?

Chris,
I too have the divot problem, although with fresh rollers it is almost
completely eliminated.
I have contemplated using larger diameter rollers; installing a second
set of the swivel casters seemed like too much fabrication, but non
swiveling casters would not work well on a front mounted deck with a
significant sideways motion when turning as compared to mid mounted deck.
I
can get away with larger diameter rollers because my deck is converted to
side discharge. I suspect the a rear discharge deck will not work with
larger rollers.
I have also considered using boat trailer rollers because you can get
them in urethane rubber that has better abrasion resistance than the wood,
but they are hugely expensive. (At least to me. A 12 inch roller is
$18+.)
