I talked to Bill Gunn today,
and he said that the transmission takes 64OZ of 90 weight oil! Filling to
the "fill" plug line won't be enough to insure that the upper end of the tranny
gets lubrication. Therefor, either stand the trac on its head to fill it,
or fill it thru the shift lever when the tranny is out for service. Also
found out there were two different brake rotor hub assemblies - one early brake
with non-floating rotor & hub with setscrew, and a later floating hub with
no setscrew. They were different sizes! Jeez - were any two 'tracs
the same?
