How about this thought; It was recently claimed that the charge cost was
just a 'few' cents.
Now if one builds a 'cheap' solar charger for say, $100, it implies one
would have to use it
hundreds of times to make it worth while. I'm not sure a charger you
could build for $100
would charge the ET in one week. Perhaps next decade, but not yet.

I've thought about this also, it sounds like a good idea. But I'm
waiting until I get everything ironed out with my tractor first.

Is anyone out there using solar power in conjunction with their Elec
Trak? I was thinking about building a solar charger that recharge the
power pac in about a weeks time. Any thoughts on this would be
appreciated...
