(ET) Front loaders, "range" on a charge, and PTO fuses or breaker

Walter, I think you are right on going w/36 v apparatus, since by all
acounts it is a poor practice to "tap off" from within the power pack of an
ElecTrak or anywhere else; they tell me, for instance, that uniform
discharge is so important in EVs for battery life that 12v accessories are
either run off of an auxilliary battery (separate) or from a DC-DC
converter
whose input is the voltage of the entire battery pack. (Chopper supply
keeps
it efficient.) I think I am not ready to buy a front loader though, I am
sorry to say, though it sounds like a worthy endeavor to start building
'em.

A range question I have for all you learned E-scholars out there: how long
should a tractor charge last? Obviously, it depends on what you're up to
(mowing, plowing, digging, or just takin' the wife out for a drive <grin>)
but, I mean, I can only mow on relatively flat ground for about 40 minutes
before

And a mildly panicky question: is there a breaker or fuse for the PTO
circuit? I hope so, because my snowthrower ain't doing nothing, despite I a
nice crisp "clack!" from the PTO relay when you switch it on. Any help
would
be appreciated, even if it's bad news. (It's just better to know, isn't
it.)

Thanks aaaawwfully, chaps.
