for this FREE performance at the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell, presented with
H+H’s signature freshness. It’s time to reconnect with friends, family, and
the music we’ve all missed. *This concert is free and open to all, no
registration required.*

Marin Alsop, renowned Music Director Laureate of the Baltimore Symphony,
Principal Conductor of Chicago’s Ravinia Festival, and Chief Conductor of
the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, will lead the H+H Orchestra, Chorus,
and members of its Youth Chorus in her H+H debut.

You’ll also hear the historic US premiere of a new adaptation of the “Ode
to Joy” text by Tracy K. Smith, former United States Poet Laureate and a
native of Massachusetts. Originally planned for Carnegie Hall, its premiere
was a casualty of the arts shutdown – now you’ll be the first to hear it as
we celebrate the performing arts’ return.
