We are excited to announce a save the date for October 24th, for the New York Trinity Striking Competition, and delighted that Simon Linford will be joining us as our judge!
We'll have two contests for teams to enroll in: the 6-bell and 8-bell competitions. The 6-bell will be any 120 on covered Doubles or Minor; and the 8-bell will be a test piece of Grandsire triples.
Registration will open for participants and teams this July on
www.trinityringers.org. If you don't have a team to register with, fear not, we are planning to arrange scratch bands for those without a tower or otherwise-solo ringers.
We are also planning to have general ringing during the day and into the evening on Friday, October 23rd, as well as service ringing and general ringing on the following Sunday, the 25th, in case you are interested in a long weekend in NYC! The contest itself will follow with a dinner on Saturday evening, where the results of the competition will take place. We will distribute a detailed schedule along with registration.
