The observance of Juneteenth in Amherst begins with a "bell ringing ceremony" on the Town Common this afternoon at 4 PM. I don't think I've ever been there, so I don't know what sort of bell(s) might be involved.

There will be fireworks over the Charles (at the MOS end) starting at about 9 PM tonight. Sounds like a good thing to do after practice (I will be elsewhere).
