Longfellow bridge annoyances this weekend

    The Red Line will be using buses between Kendall and Park Street.  
No cars will be allowed across the bridge in either direction.  The 
buses will take up all the driving space, so the state is asking 
cyclists to walk their bikes on the one sidewalk along with the 
pedestrians.    There are many other choices for getting to Old North 
from the Davis area, by taking a bus to Lechmere or Sullivan Station, 
for example.
      We might as well get used to it - this is the first of 25 such 
diversions over the next three years.
