AST-191: Special Topics - Radiative Processes in Astrophysics

A course on radiative processes in astrophysics for graduate students.

AST-121: Stellar and Galactic Astronomy

A course on stellar astrophysics and Galactic astronomy for graduate students.

AST-31: Stellar Structure and Evolution

A course on stellar astrophysics for undergraduate students with a background in physics and/or astronomy and mathematics and a strong interest in astronomy.

AST-51/151: Astrophysics Laboratory

A course intended for students with a background in physics and/or astronomy and mathematics, and a strong interest in astronomy. Through lectures and projects, the students will learn practical tools and error analysis, develop and/or strengthen computer coding skills, develop and strengthen a critical thinking attitude, perform actual measurements on real astronomy datasets to derive properties of stars, galaxies, dark matter, and dark energy, and strengthen the ability to work as part of a group.

AST-9: Concepts of the Cosmos

An introductory course to astronomy for non-science major students.
