Arizona State University and the Tufts Institute of Cosmology are
organizing a joint workshop "COSMIC STRINGS 2014".
The purpose is to bring together the cosmic string
community to discuss progress in the fields of

ORIGIN & MICROPHYSICAL STRUCTURE OF COSMIC STRINGS

EVOLUTION OF COSMIC STRING NETWORKS
-
OBSERVATIONAL SIGNATURES OF COSMIC STRINGS
The workshop will take place at Arizona State University near Phoenix,
AZ between February 3rd and 5th, 2014. The format will
include about 40 attendees, some of whom will
give contributed talks. The Phoenix area has an ideal climate at this
time of year, and we hope that bringing together leaders of the field
of cosmic strings will be very productive.
