Less than a month to go before the party weekend of April 20-22, and if there's going to be any chance of getting the house ready, I need your help.
That's right - YOU. The people who get to come over, enjoy my games, my movies, my chili ... well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad!
Anyway, since I'm not going to get a new room added on to the house in time, my best option to get all of the junk put away is to rearrange things. So, to that end, I am going to turn the living room into the theater room (for now at least).
What this means is that I am going to be moving a bunch of furniture. For that I need YOU. I am going to be moving the DVD cases and all 1800 movies and 250 TV series box sets from the side rooms to the living room, and all of the toys and furniture from the living room back into the other rooms. But I can't do it alone.
I am hoping that rearranging things this way will free up a bit of wall space to put extra shelves for the rest of the toys and games.
We are running out of weekends, so I am hoping to do this on Saturday the 31st. I'd like to have 3-4 people helping. We can start around 11:00 and hopefully be done by dinner time (I will buy!)
Please get back to me as soon as you can. I really want to get this done next weekend. If not, I may just have to cancel the party and it will be ALL YOUR FAULT...
