[Palindrome] Planning, or something like it

In partial response to Trip's email, rather than prune down our mailing 
list, which
is at least several years old and full of people who didn't compete with 
us, we're
simply planning on creating a new e-mailing list and wiki for the 
constructors.
It will simply be more secure to allow people in than deciding who to 
let out.

In another vein, I also agree with Sprout's philosophy of having one 
person who
can make simple executive decisions when they are called for, while also 
agreeing
that major decisions about hunt structure and theme must be made 
democratically.
That being said, those of you who were on our team when we were 
discussing the
structure of the hunt-of-horrors (then the alien/matrix hunt) remember 
the problem
of having a large committee working out all the fine details.  I'll be 
happy to post
my memories of the idea-build-up when I have more time and energy.

In the interest of full disclosure, I put forth my name to Scott as 
someone who is
willing to take on the job of being in charge of organizing next year's 
hunt.  As a
10+ year member of this team, one of the main people in charge of 
designing parts
of the last two hunts we ran, and as a person who has run a number of 
extravaganzae,
I think I might be able to handle this job...by tapping into the many 
brilliant constructors,
writers, artists, and students we have on the team.  (Hey, I may be a 
fool, but I'm not
stupid.)

Personally, I'm very excited about seeing what this team can do, and as 
soon as the
wiki gets online, I can't wait to see some of the ideas that you have.
