Words of experience:

DON'T PANIC!  It doesn't matter if you show up at noon, or at 5:00, 
or even later.  It doesn't matter if you take a break for a nice 
meal, or to see a movie, or to get some sleep.  This is a marathon, 
not a sprint, and keeping fresh and alert is more important than 
putting in extra hours.  There's been no hunt (well, maybe one) in 
recent years in which we would have done worse if we'd *all* showed 
up five hours late.  So relax.  And have a good time!
