[Palindrome] 1:30 Sun: Puzzle Practice for Wercrew!
Yes, on short notice, I've decided tomorrow's as good a time
as any, and better than most, to have the MIT Mystery Hunt
puzzle practice for the Wercrew team (and perhaps a guest
or two). Here are the details:
1:30 pm EASTERN TIME
Sunday, January 8, 2006
14 Hancock Street
Auburndale (part of Newton), MA 02466

Puzzles we're going to work on:

This quiz looks like a reasonable proxy for the Mystery Hunt,
and a fun way to spend an afternoon / evening. Yes, the
answers have already been published; don't look at them.
We'll try to have some food here, and expect to order pizzas /
subs, but we welcome food offerings from those who physically
join us.
For those who can't physically join us, I suggest working online.
Eric B. / Story has already set up a team bulletin board, which
could be a big help. My personal fantasy is for a team wiki,
which I think works even better for team solving -- anyone up
for building one, like, soon?
As long as someone shows up, I'll be solving till at least
dinner (6:00 pm), and probably longer. People should feel
free to join in, and drop out, at their convenience, just as in
the Real Hunt.
But do, PLEASE, let us know if you're coming here physically,
just so we have some idea of what to expect. Up until noon
tomorrow (Sunday), e-mail is fine; after that, please call at
the phone number above. When you let us know, we'd
also appreciate a rough guess of *when* you'll be arriving,
though we won't hold you to it.
Let's have some fun!
