Hello Hunters!
It's the most...wonderful tiiiiime...of the
year...
No, not that time. It's Mystery Hunt time
again!
First off, I'd like to thank Eric for his most
gracious comments, and I can only hope to live
up to them. I know that there is no way that
I can even begin to fill Eric's shoes, and I
just hope to manage things this year without
screwing up too badly.
To that end, let's start things off...this is the
annual e-mail to find out if you wish to stay
on the e-mailing list. I'm also assembling a
little database of team members. So, please fill out the following, in an
easy-to-fill-in format:
[If you don't have the time to fill out all of the
following, please send me a quick e-mail
saying that you're coming, and want to be on the
e-mailing list (assuming that's true.)
That way I can get a head count for the hunt
registration.]
Name:
NPL nom (if applicable):
E-mail address(es):
Home phone:
Cell phone:
Will you be competing on-site?
If so, when will you be arriving?
Also if so, what will you be bringing to the
HQ?
Do you have any special dietary
requirements?
Other possible information we could
use:
Items you would like at the HQ, but don't have
(wish list):
People who currently aren't on the team, but you
think might want to be:
Solving specialties:
Foreign languages you speak:
Computer languages you speak:
Anything else you think I should know:
I'm also going to need someone who lives on or near
to MIT to coordinate and scout
possible HQ locations. I know that locations
will be assigned by the hunt coordinators,
but that doesn't mean we couldn't make a few
suggestions. This person would also
need to handle any other preparations that need to
be made in person, since I'm not
exactly a 2-minute walk from MIT.
Please, please, PLEASE, don't hesitate to remind me
about anything I've forgotten, since
I know I'm going to forget things, and I want to
make sure everything comes together
properly.
I can't wait to see you all again!
Play for fun,
---Tom (Al DeSuda)
