[Palindrome] network connectivity

Network connectivity should be a lot easier for many of us this year.
If you have a laptop and wireless, you can now get temporary guest
access:

We would still need a wired connection for the printer (unless it can
also handle wireless); hopefully, we have gotten a room with at least
one active drop. Do we know what room we've been assigned yet?

Finally, it would be really helpful to me if you could let me know if
you are bringing a computer that requires an Ethernet connection. If we
end up running enough systems to require the hub/switch that Ken bought
a while ago, I have to talk to the Network team in IS to get permission
to do this. Given that there is a good chance some of my connections on
that team will be laid off this month -- and I don't know which of my
friends will be lucky enough to keep their jobs -- determining who the
right person in Network is to help us could get a little touchy, so I'd
like to avoid that if possible.
