(ET) Selling my ETs
I'll soon be moving and downsizing. By the end of the year my E15 and R36
will be orphans, unless someone adopts them, along with my pile of tasty
ET
cookies.
Ideally one person would give all of these a home. I know, we all say
that.
Target adoption date is around mid-December.
I haven't a clue what this gear might really be worth in today's market.
Ebay is of no help.
If anyone wants to suggest a reasonable asking price for the list below,
or, yea verily, even wants to raise an "I'll do it" forepaw and make an
offer, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
This will have to be picked up here in Ohio, between Akron and Canton.
I think that the list below is reasonably complete, though I may have a
few
more sundry bits and bones that I haven't dug up yet.
About replying to this. I don't know how much others will appreciate
discussion of it on the list, so I suggest that you contact me offlist at
the address at the bottom of this page:

Again, to make sure it's clear, I'd like to see this gear leave around mid-
December, maybe slightly earlier, since I may need it until around then.
Thanks to all.

Solid E15, 1970, with M-30 brake upgrade. Surface rust, nothing
structural.
Has one of the last two Alltrax DC300-ET controllers made, purchased new
in
Dec 2017 for almost $400, cleanly installed. Hand throttle. Updated fuse
block. New Carlisle tires in 2012. Runs 6 Deka Dominator group 24
12-volt
gel batteries in series-parallel, getting weary, but still have some
useful
capacity. Includes three 12v automatic chargers. Lift works; strap looks
iffy. Runs well, but may have a little transaxle wear, as it occasionally
jumps out of D1. Steering gear could use adjustment.
Extra set of E15 rear wheels and tires, with worn but still usable snow
chains.
Bare E15 mower deck, sandblasted, refinished with 2-part epoxy enamel
underdeck and spraycan yellow on top. Never reassembled, never used since
refurbishing. No hardware.
Extra bare mower deck, rusty & ugly.
Dozer blade, rusty & ugly, but totally functional. Angle adjuster works
fine.
Powered lawn sweeper. Axle is bent, but I have a replacement for it, and
new brushes, purchased from Bill Gunn. Original collection bag is present
and in fair condition.
Rototiller - rusty & ugly; appears complete, running condition unknown.
Electric rear lift for tiller, purchased from Bill Gunn for almost $200 +
shipping and never used.
Weight box - decent condition, currently on E15.
Seven mower motors, 2 squat type and 5 tall type, all probably in need of
at least new bearings. Maybe 2 more motors, if I can find them.
Two mower struts.
Two mower casters.
Three sets of E15 mower blades, one of them never mounted.
Mower bar for E15 front stabs.
Avco New Idea R36 riding mower, 1974. Good functional condition, some
fiberglass body cracks. Vinyl seat upholstery is in rough shape. Deck is
solid, but has a darn-it tree-stump dent. Newer tires. New blades.
Rebuilt traction and mower motors. Mower fuses replaced with circuit
breakers. Trans sometimes jumps out of reverse, but other gears seem
fine.
Runs on three group 24 12-volt Deka Dominator gel batteries, getting tired
but can still mow 1/2 - 3/4 acre on a charge. Uses the same 12-volt
automatic chargers as the E15.
