Most ETs are plenty heavy in the back so weights aren’t generally needed
but of course there are exceptions, like a loader tractor. Wheel weights
take the load off the axles and tractor length does not change.
However, depending on your situation, there could be issues with wheel
weights.
1) Unlike the weight box, wheel weights are a bit of a pain to take on and
off.
2) Wheel weights can add significant width depending on how much you put
on.
3) Most ETs have a short wheelbase so having 200 pounds in a weight box is
much more effective than 200 in the wheels due to leverage.
