Note the E12S has the same drive motor as the E15, so if ambitious you could upgrade the stock controls to get the extra speeds. Or if use the electronic controller upgrade kit, the end result is the same for both the E15 and the E12S.

The E12 is missing a few things that were robbed by the previous owner
to keep the E15 going. I've robbed the traction motor circuit breaker
myself.
