That's not so tough to fix.  Just unbolt the seat and turn it around. :-)

FWIW, you have it worse than I did.  it was my earlier E15's reluctance to 
leave FORWARD that led me to junk the Fifth Dimension era GE contactor 
controller in favor of Britney Spears era electronics.
