I try to do the same - purchase from both Harold & Jim.  Just like Charlie said my EGT-150 is so reliable it doesn't need much - only to repair the things my wife & daughter break.  I only use original brand parts and good quality bearings.

I try to spread my business between Harold and Jim, and commend them both heartily.  The Elec-traks, especially the later models, are so absurdly sturdy that there's really not much business for our specialist vendors, and I value their wealth of knowledge and experience.

That being said I just bought a new reverse switch locally... I was in a hurry and the stilt grass is going to seed!
