Supposedly the color GE used was "New Holland Yellow."  I found some 
acrylic 
enamel of that color in a quart can at a farm store in the early 2000s.  
It 
did seem like a reasonable match at the time.  

I think Bill Gunn used to sell GE yellow in spray cans, so maybe ask Jim 
Coate?
