Re: (ET) E12M fuel level gauge acting weird



Thanks everybody.  The oblem was probvious once I took it all apart - the resistor had broken away at one end.  Actually I have the thing sufficiently shredded now that I think I'll just take a bunch of other spare parts up to Harold Zimmerman and see if he'll trade me for another GE meter.

That meter is a standard golf car part.  You should be able to find another
for $25 or so at a golf car parts supplier. 

Ebay and other similar sources also sell generic digital replacements that
will bolt right in.  A lot of these are cheap short-lived crap from China. 
Also, watch out for generic meters that aren't actually weatherproof.
