Re: (ET) Looking for some deck motors,,ET15

I’ve been to Harold’s shop.  A young guy, young family, very busy, professional and easy to do business with.

I would like to point out to the list that when you order a "deck motor" from Harold you don't get a "motor".

You get a Faberge Egg quality motor.

Seriously: I just bought one and opened it up here. It's completely clean, inside and out. Not a dent or scratch. The bottom rubber seal is completely new, and the bearings are so smooth you can feel the natural resistance of the magnets. It's really impressive.

I'm tempted to take it apart, but I think I'll order another pair of them. Not because the outside motors need replacement, but because this thing is so good....

Just need to pull the hub from one of my older motors, but that's not too big of a deal....

Prefer to have a matching tall one, but any should do for now.
Hate to keep pushing the one going bad, but the grass is really growing
fast.  Wish I discovered it last fall instead.
PS  could use some new rubber on the front 2 wheels too!
Thanks,

Kansas Wind Power use to have some, but that's been a while. Also Harold
Zimmerman, or the Tractor Store.

ITMm looking for 2 mower deck motors.  I donTMt currently have the
time nor shop set up properly to be able to rebuilt them.

When the deck motors on my New Idea rider needed some work, I took
them to a local auto electric shop.  AFAICT, they did a fine job.  The
same place also replaced a noisy bearing in the drive motor.
