*nod* Did that last fell. Nothing open, however it is possible that one of the windings has shorted to itself somewhere along the line. I'll see if I can post resistance values.

Yup. It is what was in there when I got it.
3. Check the diodes.
Both were replaced.I think the transformer is shot. For the short term I'll charge with the little bench supply (2a max), then figure out if I can build or buy a 120v to 50v power supply for it. Getting 48v actually should not be a problem as that's what telco equipment runs at and that would be a lot closer to what a flooded NiCD needs...
