Re: (ET) She runs...but

potential still seen with fuses pulled. I will get a bulb to check if it is actual current, It may not be as it is not 6v apart at the various terminals.

Jim, I had considered the harness tugging on it, and there definitely is not enough service loop, having just changed the wiring out one by one to make sure I didn't mix them up. I will try to make it fail without being screwed down

Common culprits are the lift motor, head lamp wiring mating with the armature limiters, and the large terminals on the armature contactors.  A lesser possibility would be the RTN circuit. Brake switch, seat switch and the wiring.

9-18 volts between chassis and various front battery terminals, changes when motor is under power. Not sure what I am supposed to see, but that seems wrong if chassis is meant to be isolated. Where to look? Charger?

Always check for voltage on the frame.  It can cause weird symptoms.

Subject:(ET) She runs...but

So the ebay throwback machine runs. Cleaned the fuse contacts and lift and lights work, runs forward and reverse, mostly.

If I screw the fwd/rev relay to the panel, it gets flaky. I changed it out to a new one, same thing. I will have to check to see if there is an issue with voltage in the frame or something.

Ideas?
