(ET) More snow=Fun
Another 10 inches down here, fairly heavy, cold. No problem doing the
driveway, although the batteries sagged a bit at the end. I'm not going
to water them now, way too cold. But NiCDs are usually tough, I think
they will last till spring.
One thing I did notice is that when I backed into a tree a few months
ago I slightly cracked a BB600 cell near the top in the external battery
box. It's possible that cell is now low on water, I'll check it once the
snow melts, but I wonder if it's possible to weld/glue these battery cases.
Other than that, good. Still might wire in the last bank of 30 cells in
the front in such a way that they support the PTO a bit better. This
voltage drop from the rear pack when pulling >300 amps is a bit annoying.
