Re: (ET) E16 drive issues.



                          Were it I, replacement of all those diodes would be on the menu.It will be a bit of a pill to do,the way that assembly is constructed, but after it's done, you will probably get another 40 years of service.Replace the MOV also,since there is no practical way to determine its state of health.It is not OEM so it has been changed at least once. A weekend project that should be enjoyable.

            Yes, that WAS a diode. <VBG>Now that the primary issue is
unveiled,a local RadioShack® should have suitable, better than OEM
replacements.Here is a link to the OEM specs.
